AIGA Idaho welcomes Andrea Marks to Boise for a screening of her film, "Freedom on the Fence." The film is a 40 minute documentary about the history of Polish posters and their significance to the social, political and cultural life of Poland. It examines the period from WWII through the fall of Communism, and captures the paradox of how this unique art form flourished within a Communist regime. Andrea is an Associate Professor and the Graphic Design Program Coordinator at Oregon State University. The film is 40 minutes, and a Q&A will follow.
Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for AIGA members and $15 for non-members, and can be purchased here.
